Doubt it's the races even though it would nice to see it implemented
My guess is those sparrows That were put in the game around Halloween. The ones that allow you to flip in the air

Those weren't special sparrows. It was just people learning how to do random stuff

Edited by Some Random Guy: 11/16/2014 1:24:17 PMNo there was 4 Sparrows added to destiny at the same time they added the jackolytes and flight of shadows. They have a destabilizer ability that allows you to flip in mid air, it wasn't stated if they meant just the Sparrow or yourself included. No one can argue that it wouldn't make sense with the tease picture they released, it's a guardian hanging off his sparrow as if it was being flipped.

At the time of that Halloween-era patch four unique sparrows were actually downloaded to your console. People thought they would be for a Halloween event due to the timing but Bungie said no. It could very well be those sparrows. Oh yes, those sparrows allowed for barrel-rolls in the air (tricks like in the picture). It makes sense.

To be honest I didn't even hear about the flipping sparrow which people including you are talking about. But, if they're implementing flipping sparrows why bother letting people even beta test them (tbh, flipping sparrows doesn't really sound beta worthy or even that special, not saying I wouldn't want them)? they'd be nothing really special anyways But, I can see where you're looking at. I'm still hopeful never the less. For the better, I hope you're wrong :p (no offence ^^). You may be right, but hey one can only hope right? I may end up being wrong. :D

Yeah I doubt it, they don't talk about it being a beta though, that's only the voice chat feature they're talking about. The whole post about the tricks up their sleeves stares the dlc owners get access now and even if you don't buy the dlc today you'll still get access if you download it down the road.
