Hopeful and Cautiously Optimistic

I posted a thread a while back in hopes of delivering a simple message to Bungie: That we like the game, but we need more communication from their end. This last weekly update gave a small nod to that topic. I am (holds breath) excited for the coming changes. I recently solved (I hope-Knocks on Wood for the 3rd time) my own connection issues and documented that process on the forums for anyone else looking for help. Point of this thread is to say... Thank you for the update. Your words give me strength in the long night, but as of yet they are words only which lend little warmth. Regardless, it is a good start. I'll withhold final judgement until all the updates are pushed out, but for right now I am cautiously optimistic. I hope that you deliver on your promises, and that your updates do not throw me back into the error-code loop I have only just escaped from. I know you will take the time to make sure that negative consequences are not caused by the coming updates, but should they be PLEASE be quick in addressing them. I have been praying for that 'Requires an Update' screen ever since the codes started. Now that I have it fixed I am hesitant again...what if all my work in the past two weeks is undone by some as-yet unknown bug? Regardless, I will take this as I have taken so much lately: On Faith. In Short Thank you for the communication, please do not be a stranger, and be gentle with me...I've been hurt before.

  • I share a very similar stance. I, too, couldn't help but get excited when I read the latest patch notes. I'm sincerely hoping that these kinds of changes become a trend from Bungie, because if they do, I think Destiny has the potential to be something truly special.
