Prior to my opinion of Destiny, I'm curious, what would drastically improve the game the most?
Overall as the majority of the playerbase knows Destiny is not the Destiny we dreamed of-- unless you were dreaming of a grindfest sub par mmo with a horrible rng system-- in that case you'll be happy. I don't hate Destiny, in fact I want to love it but the content being added to the game is honestly pathetic and I'll explain why:
Firstly, the content that should've been in the game on Day 1 of this game is being promised later which, [u]future content promised is not a compromise for what is not in the game now[/u].
Secodly, the content that is being added, is just a reskinned version of the content we have in the game now, new bosses in the raid- no just reskinned models which are only marginally different due to the mechanics of the fight rather than an actual custom raid boss that feels unique and personal toits own world, the templar is just a reskinned Vex Hydra with a full sheild instead of a portional sheild that only is different because of the use of oracles and an artifact.
Thirdly, the game makes its attempt to combine several themes from other game in a nice blend and fails to live up to any of them totally. Destiny is not a great RPG like Skyrim, Dragon Age or Borderlands. Destiny is not an MMO like World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, RIFT, TERA. Destiny is not a great FPS like Halo 3, Battlefield or some of the CoD's. Destiny is a blend of several genre's but fails at actually accomplishing what any of these games has offered and it could have been that dream game of the year.
Fourthly, Destiny's environments are boring despite being visually stuning. The planets of our solar system are boring and repetative, there's no hazard sand pits or dust effect that clouds your vision on mars, no maneating plants on Venus and no horrifying monsters in the caves of the Hellmouth which just leaves me with a sense of really? Destiny puts up invisible walls and blocks your desire to explore and limits you to such a great extent with nothing marginally impressive -other than the look of some of the areas- isactually going on in their enviroments.
Finally, Destiny is overall, a lackluster, tedious and mundane game at it's core with only the mechanics and marginally entertaining gun play that will get boring quick with what little content there is to use it on. Destiny, you're just not as interesting as what you led us to believe and there's no context in you to give us incentive to do anything that makes us feel a conection or purpose with the world and that's your downfall.
Honestly, I don't exactly know who's responsible but I have an idea that it's related to corporate interest and that's just my opinion, but the one thing that can't be denied is that we're being herded to play reskinned content that's being added into Destiny that's simply the same stuff with just a little bit of a different look. ex: Queens bounty- they're just bounties on Fallen with epic modifiers that really do nothing for the players but stall until actual decent thing's are added.

I'm gunna stray away from the whole loot discussion. It's been beaten to death in every which way bungie knows its not perfect and we should see an improvement soon I have faith. But I am gunna offer up an idea that I hope everyone in a clan can agree on. We don't have much to do by way of clan activities. Other than a few achievements that are based on being in a clan. I wanna see a competitive pvp/PVE dlc or patch update whatever you will. I'm thinking it be called clan turf wars. Every clan starts out with a clan base (you can choose from 6 models of bases) these bases have your own personalized vendors which you can by like spinmetal relic iron so on and so for for an increased price. A clan vault(only unused items can go in there and you can donate glimmer to the clan to help buy upgrades) a clan bounty board for weeklys and dailies picked out by the clan leader to earn experience for the clan to help earn new upgrades. Now every clan starts with say 5 territory plots that also add experience to the clan. Other clans can issue a "turf war" invitation to adjoining clan territory. If the invited clan does not respond to this invite within 48 hrs the territory is forfeited. Clans can only issue 2 a day. And some territories will be worth more than others. Depending on region you will get to play in different variations of the maps(forested areas with have trees with small bases in them desert areas will be wide an open easily defendable etc). It's balanced cause the bigger clans who have more players will have to be defending their territories more often. Now for the PVE portion of the game style you can get warnings saying a large fallen army is converging on your territory you have (depending on how big it is is how long you have to assemble) 45 minutes to assembled and defend. If you lose in this you forfeit your land but you have the opportunity to take it but so do other clans that are watching they can go and do battle to get your territory. So all in all all this clan experience with encourage clans to be very active.
