If the beta had any input on this question, than yes, you should be able to play the same guardians on both consoles. Whenever you feel like it, you should be able to switch between your PS3 to your PS4. This is the same with Xbox consoles. Just know you can't switch between PS and Xbox consoles.

But, we're going to have to use an external drive, link cable, or something to transfer our saved games.. or am I wrong?

Edited by ZOKZ18: 8/24/2014 2:40:46 AMIf you are PS+ member, you can use the Cloud storage from it to transfer data!
-
Because EVERYTHING you'll do is stored on Bungie's servers, the only things you'll need will be the consoles you play on. All data is just going to be fetched from the cloud.
-
It is connected to your Bungie.net account I believe. So you should bypass all of that annoying stuff.

Edited by Duskylad: 8/24/2014 11:47:07 AMIn the Beta I played both PS3 and PS4 with the same Guardians, all updated progression was available on both platforms. I have a Plus account, which you will need on the PS4 to play online. Seamless, easy and great fun, see you on the 9th .
