I noticed the Fireteams in the demo were two/three-man groups. My question is: what should be the maximum number of a squad/fireteam size?
Personally, I think 6 is max, but 4 is best in a game like this. 12, like in Planetside 2, is just too damn much, especially since we're not trying to kill each other, but decent groups of enemies.

Bungie has confirmed that a fire team will consist of 3 players, but that you will be able to join another fire team to create a squad (uncertain about name for this group) of 6 players.

1-6: 6 being max and 1 being the lone wolf. this give a guardian options, i personally would like six because i come from a very tight nit group of cod players looking forward to destiny and it would be a shame if we can't all play together and share those breath taking moments we are promised. plus having 6 as max opens up for level diversification in the sense that maybe the fire team can split to cover more ground or flank a vex strong hold. obviously a fire team can have any number of members ranging from 1 to 6 is what i am saying.

2 Replies8 because I'm hoping at some point you're going to need all that firepower

I prefer 3 man fire teams, small stealthy groups

6 would be fine :D

4-6 would be nice.

Four in my opinion sounds Appropriate.

6 seems like too many and some places will get crowded and 2 seems like too little as you may get overwhelmed as you have less man power and less variety with classes, play styles, and guns. 4 in my opinion seems like a sweet spot. You can have 1 of each of the classes if you choose to have that variety and there is just enough where people won't be yelling over each other. Also less people to fight over vehicles with.

Shirley, it depends on the gameplay. If Bungie says three per fireteam (that's what they were eluding to?), then I guess three fits the gameplay best. ...and don't call me Shirley.

2 RepliesI kind of like 6 because often times I'll be playing with friends and that means I can only run with three other players. Usually a 5th person will pop up and then it splits the group into two groups, so I like 6 because I'd say 5 is the average
