Game Freezing // Never Happened Before SOTH

Hi everyone. There's a bunch of previous posts on freezing issues with Destiny 2, and I have tried all the steps I have found in them, but none have worked. So I'm posting here on the off chance someone has some advice I've not already read, or Bungie sees this and flags the issue. I'm running the game on Steam. Ever since the Season of the Haunted dropped, my game started freezing randomly. Full lock up, screen freezes, and the sound continues in the background. Only remedy is to close the process via the Task Manager and reload. In previous posts I've found on this issue, it seems to primarily be an issue on startup. For me, it is a lot more random than that. It does happen a lot on startup, but it can also happen any time -- after 2 mins of gameplay, after two hours of gameplay, it varies. The only consistent thing is that it happens pretty much every time I run the game at some point. I haven't played a game since SOTH launched which I have played without an eventual lock-up. I've tried a bunch of different things (e.g. verifying game files, running the game as administrator, deleting cache files and resetting CVARS, all the usual steps etc.) and nothing is working. I've never had an issue with Destiny running before this -- it's my first experience of how frustrating it can be to have a game you are paying for (via Season Pass) just not work, and a lack of support ticketing or communication providing zero customer accountability from Bungie. For anyone who might have the time or inclination to help me find a solution, detailed info on my system specs below. I've put thousands of hours into this game -- I genuinely love it. But after weeks and weeks of trying to find a solution to this issue, for the first time I'm considering just uninstalling and moving on. One last shot to see if anyone can help. Thanks all. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 7/29/2022, 13:19:37 Machine name: AUTOBARN-ONE Operating System: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 22000) Well, for starters, Nvidia driver 516.40 and 516.59 make Destiny 2 freeze and crash, so use either the hotfix driver 516.79 or roll back to 512.95. Also try dsabling the Shader Cache. Then, upload the whole Dxdiag report to pastebin.com and link it here.
