Are we sure Mars is Mars? What if it's a trick, and this Mars is actually part of her Throne World illusion?
It's just extremely hyper realistic, just with one new addition with the Relic.
Or maybe, her actual throne world is the Altar of Reflection with Mars & her "Throne World" being just a memory?

No. Mars is Mars. You can see the Witness get mad about Mars being returned during the final cutscene of the Witch Queen.

Man, she understands reality and time so well. She helped vex see light though they didn't understand that at the time. She died, forgot who she was, but already set us up to help her remember, killed again (ghost still messing around), and she is using memories to speak to us...as if she had seen this all plotted out. (I mean vex and stuff, minutes = decades, and could have spent an infinite time setting things up, though I don't think she is the infinite patience (maybe a version)). -
6 RepliesOvercomplicating something for no real reason. Mars is Mars. The shortest evidence I can provide? The returned and fractured Mars appears within the collection of planets the Witness is observing during the post-campaign cutscene.
