Lol I like how you call good players beating worse players entitlement wins.

I don't mind players roughly .5kd or 1kd higher than me but some people wear the banner with the kd saying 7-15 in a few matches here and there. That's slightly lopsided when best person on the opposing team in my bracket is 2kd occasionally.
Lol I like how you call good players beating worse players entitlement wins.
A stacked team getting matched against randoms literally bypasses the whole point of the lobby having to be balanced, stacked players should never be matched against a team of randoms, yet bungie doesn't seem to understand that and keep letting it happen. Clearly one sided matches shouldn't be allowed or tolerated
-
Quick reminder that if you solo queue in trials you are not entitled to free wins, thats coming from someone who doens't play trials, git gud bud
Quick reminder that if you solo queue in trials you are not entitled to free wins, thats coming from someone who doens't play trials, git gud bud
Nobody said anything about trials. OP didn't either, go away
-
Solo queue is in trials, comp and iron banner. In none of these modes you are entitled to free wins, L for you

Sure I can get behind the idea of the matchmaking prioritizing stacks against stacks in casual modes. I just don't think players shouldn't be allowed to team up or be accused of "exploiting the game" when they do.

-
Wouldn't be a problem if people didn't rely on the matchmaking to give them wins rather than earning them.
-
When you stack up, it bypasses lobby balancing (can't balance a lobby if 6 guardians are guaranteed to be on the same team). That's exploiting matchmaking to give yourself an advantage before the game starts, and then those people take their inflated stats and use it to bully people. That's a d*ck move, whether you like it or not.
-
That's not entitlement, it's just logical that 6 good players will win fairly often. Sure it sucks to fight a 6-stack full of good players but you can't blame them for not wanting to have to hard carry their whole team every game.
-
The fact that Bungo won't fix it and if they did, they would receive constant flack from sweats and streamers makes it entitlement. The fact that they tried other matchmaking styles and got whined at by streamers and sweats until this one makes it entitlement. The sweats and streamers won't let Bungo change it because they want free wins. That's entitlement.
-
I find it a bit ironic that you're calling people who win because they're good and play with other good players "entitled" while demanding that the game give everyone a 50/50 win-loss regardless of whether or not you put in any work to earn it.
I find it a bit ironic that you're calling people who win because they're good and play with other good players "entitled" while demanding that the game give everyone a 50/50 win-loss regardless of whether or not you put in any work to earn it.
They're not playing stiff competition. If they were, they would be good. Slamming on bottom tier or new light players doesn't make you good. Demanding Bungo set up a system that ensures you face them often is entitlement. You keep rephrasing my argument to suit your needs. I want competitive matches. Trading mercy rules every game is not that
-
By "competitive matches" you mean you want the game to protect you from playing good players. You are the entitled one here.
-
By "competitive matches" you mean you want the game to protect you from playing good players. You are the entitled one here.
No we want equal matchups, nobody likes getting shafted by a stacked team in the first 3 minutes of a match and get mercy ruled in less than 7, wanting to not get put with randoms against a full fireteam of friends or clan mates isn't competitive and all of it is bungies fault for not matching a fireteam against other fireteams even if finding a match could take longer.
-
By "competitive matches" you mean you want the game to protect you from playing good players. You are the entitled one here.
Don't restate my argument to mean something I didn't say. That's how losers argue.
-
I'm just stating the subtext of what you're saying. It's a fundament of language and communication. You're not even denying it because you know you'd put yourself in an untenable position if you tried to.
I'm just stating the subtext of what you're saying. It's a fundament of language and communication. You're not even denying it because you know you'd put yourself in an untenable position if you tried to.
No, what I said was perfectly clear. Restating it to mean something else is a loser move, something they do on Twitter when they have nothing valuable to contribute. Get your clapback and be on your way. I'm not talking to someone who plays dirty. I'll bet you use net limiters and cheat devices too and think it's fair because you understand the "subtext" of the game.
-
Lmao I don't think you know what subtext means my guy. I'm not strawmanning you, what you call "competitive matches" translates to not having to play against stacks of good players.
-
Lmao I don't think you know what subtext means my guy. I'm not strawmanning you, what you call "competitive matches" translates to not having to play against stacks of good players.
I know what it means. Anytime anyone says "what you mean is", they are 100% wrong every time. Go back to Twitter where you belong.

Please feel free to explain in your own words how your concept of competitive matches includes you playing the sweat stacks you've been complaining about.
-
Please feel free to explain in your own words how your concept of competitive matches includes you playing the sweat stacks you've been complaining about.
Simple. You don't applaud Tom Brady for playing high school students. You applaud Tom Brady for beating NFL caliber players. Similarly, you don't applaud sweat stacks for exploiting a game mode to get easy, free wins against new lights and solo players. You applaud them for getting wins against other sweat stacks. As I progress, a foreign term to this toxic hellhole, I will become good enough to face the best. Then I'll play against sweat stacks. Easy peasy. And if you type "so what you're saying is" and it's not a direct quote of what I actually said, there's a 99.9% chance that you're wrong, so don't bother.
-
Great analogy. I agree with you completely.
-
Literally what you're describing is the game protecting you from playing good players. You might think you have good reasons for it to do so, but you cannot deny that that's what you're saying.
