Edited by Pillows: 7/16/2022 1:17:31 PMThanks for the reply, do you know what is meant by "automate gameplay"? I was thinking it would be gameplay that involved multiple or complex inputs. Bungie said in another post. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/255146869 "No part of the decision to ban your account was related to any macro software. Automating trivial tasks (especially for accessibility reasons) is allowed. Players will only punished for automation when it circumvents challenges all players face during gameplay (auto-aim, trigger-bot, etc)". I thought that pressing the grenade key would fall under trivial tasks rather than gameplay. If you have any thoughts on the matter I'd really appreciate another reply. I'm not sure how the ban process works and I'd rather avoid any risks if this falls under a grey area but was curious about their policy. Edit: I only touched on the "automate gameplay" part of the statement since I wouldn't be circumventing any idle detection.

Afaik, "trivial tasks" are dismantling stuff (blue weapons/armors, deprecated Inventory Items etc) or turning bounties/materials in. Throwing grenades can only be done as an ingame activity, while playing or anyway loaded in an active session of the game, it can't be considered trivial.

I think your right, I was thinking more about it and believe I overthinking it. Automate gameplay probably covers actions when your in missions and trivial tasks is anything outside of mission. Thanks for the help, I'm definitely biased so it's hard to know if I'm thinking clearly.
