Again this is double dipping in the pockets of paying customers. You can justify this for F2P players but not for Deluxe edition players.
It's a subtraction of value of those paying players set by precedent. It sets up a terrible new precedent. And if this works out not financially beneficial then it will be slippery slope increasingly diverting and repositioning any desirable items out of the regular pool, to the pay-extra-extra-extra pool. Watch it happen.

no double dipping. this is an additional purchase. the exact same for everyone, optional at that.
-
As I said, Bungie apologist , this goes against precedent of what we buy from a Deluxe edition pass. It will see a diversion of 'best' most desirable items from the pool to the ever expanding charged pool. Oh it's for everyone alright, that's the problem. If they started charging for F2P players this would be acceptable. But to add subsequent battle passes - and who knows how far it'll go - to the already premium edition is greedy and duplicitous.
-
no apologist slow guy. deluxe edition states what you get for the money, and you get it. having an option cosmetic extra has nothing to do with what you buy in the deluxe edition. it's additional to all as an option. business do make additional optional purchases. if you think cosmetics are the most desired loot, an optional buy isn't the worst thing. more often than not the best cosmetics are for sale in every game.
-
Sure you are, very much so. Precedent and essentially this should be for F2P not for those who buy the premium passes. Worse than this is the slippery slope, that more of what was included in the buy-everything package is separated to buy extra-extra-extra.
-
it's a shame that common sense is so rare these days it goes unrecognized. your precedent is delusional. they told you what you get with the deluxe edition and you received it. this card upgrade is optional for everyone no matter which version purchased. just ignore that the best cosmetics in any game are for sale. the market has changed, you aren't being withheld anything.
-
they told you what you get with the deluxe edition and you received it.
Incorrect information. This event card was never brought up prior to WQ launch. So no, we were never told that the "Deluxe" edition that's gives all season passes and dungeons doesn't include event card that would be an additional $10.
-
Inability to read. You were told what it contained and received it. Something additional for sale after has nothing to do with what you bought previously. You bought a, now they have item b for sale. What you paid for a will never cover b.
-
Precedent is simply fact. They announced this additional event battle pass, AFTER they advertised and we paid for the Premium edition. This another step of double dipping premium paying players because they treat F2P and Deluxe the same in areas they shouldn't.
-
again, your precedent is delusional you made it up. you got what you paid for, period. something additional for sale to everyone breaks no precedents, it's called business and marketing. the fact that these type of items are for sale every single day, and every event has items for sale why are you blowing your cap when it happens for the umpteenth time?
-
The mindless BDF in full force. AGAIN, the precedent is FACT. Breaking it will inevitably further erode the deluxe all-inclusive package and if they get away with it it'll be because of anti-consumer anti-player players such as you.
-
I'm anti idiot, you are an idiot.
-
You can barely type; sit down.
-
yes because typing has so much to do with the subject, idiot. you bought item a, you stupidly think the cost of item a covers item b. you are an idiot.
-
Why are Deluxe edition players entitled to more than what they bought? When deluxe players bought the deluxe edition nowhere did it say free upgrades. Deluxe players got exactly what was promised. Also this isn't some new thing there is already silver only purchases they already divert "desirable" items out of the bright dust pool.
-
This isn't an upgrade and the premium edition has always included the complete package including the battle passes. This adds to an ever more convoluted pricing model.
