Pro tip : Don't buy the event card. The armor looks ridiculously ugly imo. And the ships are usually ugly with solstice, nobody uses them ever.
Bungie already shot themselves in their feet with this design, lmao. Maybe they are testing how ugly they can go with armor design in order to see if we're still willing to buy it

Worst part is that the armor probably won't be a part of the card

The Event card is for cosmetics. It's a bundle of cosmetics that you'd spend more than 1K silver on if you purchased. I still don't understand the complaining about cosmetics. If it were a gun or something that made the event P2W I would understand. Bungie literally should have advertised it as a Solstice bundle of cosmetics instead of an "Event Card".

I think its more the issue of anything being put behind a paywall. Especially at the prices they're set at given that people have paided a full price for it multiple times. If they were dirt cheap it'd different, but its not.

I can understand if it was weapons strictly behind a pay wall, but people angry rhat they can't collect every collectible cosmetic for free need to stop. There's no such thing as "made enough money" Bungie is a business that will always find a way to make more money. People that complain about jot getting that shiny ship, sparrow, ghost, or shader for free need to curb their entitlement, especially for something as useless as a cosmetic. Let me know when weapons are sold in Eververse and I will happily agree with the naysayers.
