They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you.
They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon.
The process for BANS and RESTRICTIONS involve reports coming in from players or their flag system towards an individual. The person at Bungie HQ reviews it. And they decide if it was warranted or not.
We do not ban players for simply having cheat tools installed, but do ban for running them while playing Destiny 2.
We do not differentiate between cheat tools for Destiny 2 and cheat tools for other games because it would be easy to avoid a ban by making a Destiny 2 cheat tool that pretends to be a cheat tool for another game.
Make sure you turn all cheat tools off before running Destiny 2 and you won’t have to worry about bans.
Maybe if you looked into what that program does you might find the reason why Bungie banned you. Bungie are rightfully very protective of their game and it's game engine and so anything caught touching it is subject to a ban. Ps. Come on it has "Hacker" in the name which is a big clue that while players use it's abilities for benign reasons those are only a small part of it's abilities and use.
