My son was banned from D2 sometime during the past 6 months, but you will not give him a reason why

The only response that either of us can get from you on the appeal is this generic message: https://imgur.com/a/lSG3idG You don't seem to have a telephone number, a support chat, nor any other way to connect with you outside of filing an appeal (which hasn't worked so far), or contacting you through one of your various web form templates (which also hasn't worked yet). Is there anybody there that can at least provide us with an answer to why he was banned in the first place? It happened sometime while he was restricted from even playing for 3-4 months at home because of his grades at the time, and since then we have been unable to get anything remotely informative as to why. I kindly let him preorder the DLC from last Fall/Winter, and he never even got a chance to play it. I've been with you since the Halo days, and we've both been with you since the alpha/beta tests for D1, D2, including every DLC, gear, etc... We've spent a good chunk of change on your games over the years, so could you at least provide us with a non-generic reason as to what caused his ban and what, if anything, we can do to mitigate this issue? We've scoured his email inbox, spam folder, and junk folder, but were unable to find a single email from you regarding the matter. Feel free to reach out to me for my son's account details. If anybody there at Bungie would be so kind as to help us with this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 • They don't need to give a reason on a ban, if he got banned he broke ToS an honestly if I was a developer if you cant stay within the ToS I dont owe you a reason why you got banned. However its important to see if its a complete game ban or a restriction on pvp, a game ban will be greated with a "not so fast" msg when your son logs into D2, if your son doesn't get that his restricted from pvp (different then a ban). Restriction can happen for multiple reason but the most common are: 1. You have network issues in your home internet: 2. Your son left to many pvp games before they ended all the way(not fun in a 3v3 game mode an one leaves now its 2v3, the game doesn't fill 2v3 games once there started): 3. Your son is laggin an got reported during a games to many of these will cause a restriction on pvp(this ties into #1, if this is the issue address #1, an this will get fix). There are other reason for a restriction but these are the most common. A pvp restriction is on all pvp game modes not the mode he was playing on when it happened. If its a ban your son broke ToS an probably shouldnt play the game again.(You can have multiple reason for a ban its not just one, examples include offensive language, when i play on Xbox/ps4 if kids join my part an its just the f word out there mouth im report an boot your from part an activity idc if its a raid boss encounter, cheating, network manipulation, an since beyond light came out a crack down on trails recover an cares, usually the common for a ban) If its a ban tell your kid to stop being a -blam!- head online, if its a restriction have him say away from pvp for 2 weeks(first restriction on any pvp mode, after is 2 months I think). If you want a good idea of why, tell use sons gamertag an we can all look at his game activity an most of the time the community can tell you why you got banned from game history.
