I've been a few hours into the game and then I noticed a small speaker icon at the bottom of the screen.
I was like: "Yay, some kind of sneak mechanic".
And then I went into settings and saw that voice chat is enabled by default, by default, not even push to talk, by default.
So my question is: Does it mean that everyone could hear every single conversation I had for a few hours?
And you know privacy and stuff.

In match made activities, you'd need to toggle into the fire team voice chat channel and in fireteams you join, it automatically connects you, whether you have a mic or not. Alone in your own fireteam with a mic enabled, the game can hear you but no one else will (public spaces, playlists, patrols).
