3 RepliesIts none sustainable. They're either gonna run out of ideas for weapon rolls or they're gonna need to sunset. It sounds harsh but I honestly think they should've only had 3 or so weapons per season be craftable. There's a power creep slowly, but surely, happening and they're gonna end up crafting themselves into a corner

1 Replymake us level up weapons until 2050?
-
A couple weapons here and there as "content".
-
4 RepliesNot even Bungie knows.
-
3 RepliesThere isn't one. It's just cheaper to give us 6 to 12 "Vaulted" weapons per season and let people grind old worn out out content so they have to do basically nothing new. Bungles new motto is "Minimal effort for Maximum Money" for destiny, so it continues to fund their work on Matter.

2 RepliesMore fumbling about in the dark probably....

Bungie and long term = make money out of recycled -blam!-.

Craft weapons.

What we have Not meant to be easy Just a added system on top of random loot
-
Who knows. Anyone have one of those magic 8-Balls from the 90s that we can ask? 🤣

It’s just another weird gimmick they add each expansion. Shadowkeep had Champions, Beyond Light had quests to unlock fragments to upgrade Stasis, Witch Queen has weapon crafting. Next expansion, crafting might take a backseat and another thing will make it obsolete.

1 ReplyGood question. This is the information that should be relayed in the weekly TWaB. I’ve noticed that Bungie really avoids discussing any QoL updates or game enhancements that are in progress. It’s almost like they prefer just telling the player base after the fact that this issue has been fixed or what not. Seems really counterintuitive.

Edited by JazzyPaladin477: 6/24/2022 6:50:03 PMGame plan…bungie? It was just thrown out there half baked and left to rot. They already admitted very little work had gone into it, see crafting currency debacle. Should have been full on weapons 3.0 and applied to all weapons, but nope just a bandaid.
-
Yeah makes me wonder if I should even grind for master raid weapons when you get crafted regular weapons and then you also get 2x rolls which can't be crafted. I think its weird we can have some many different kinds of better weapons but each one takes its own long time grinding for them. Im quite tired of it id rather have just one
-
To suck up and waste as much player time as possible, without really giving us anything particularly worthwhile.
-
3 RepliesTo make you feel dead inside after you walk away from the relic after spending over 4,000 materials on a fully enhanced weapon that doesn't function any differently than the standard version.
-
To craft...
-
1 ReplyIn my opinion Crafting = Long tedious and mostly based on the luck of the draw on red borders. I decided it wasn't worth the effort, nothing worth crafting. I have thrown away so many redbar weapons.
-
2 RepliesI honestly think it’s just filler content, something to do after you’ve done everything
-
5 RepliesI hate to slam the people who actually put the work into getting crafting set up, programmed, and working, so I wont, but I think overall it's not working that great for some of us players. I have 3 dual enhanced weapons that, don't get me wrong, I like and I use ALL the time, but they don't feel that different from the regular perk versions. Enhanced Outlaw'Rampage Austringer gets 1 extra second on each perk's timer, Enhanced Subsistence/Demolitionist Ragnhild-D gets grenade back in 5 kills instead of 8, and f-k if I could tell you what Enhanced Subsistence does. I can tell you that it does not load 2 rounds into the magazine. Feels like a waste of materials to me. And, my Enhanced Subsistence/Unrelenting Enigma. See above regarding Subsistence, and I don't know about Enhanced Unrelenting. I can't ever notice health regen no matter what, so it was probably a bad choice for an enhanced perk. Anyway, I have a bunch of crafted weapons that I won't/don't want to use simply because the starting options for perks are worse than what I've picked up off the ground, and a vault full of "what if" Deepsight weapons that I'm probably going to mass delete soon.

More grinding🙈
-
I doubt they know, because it looks like a worse version of Warframe crafting
-
2 RepliesIt’s like you think crafting was their idea? It wasn’t. People asked for it. Now they’re realizing why it wasn’t a thing.
-
The same long-term plan they have for literally everything else in the game - none. Bungie's current mantra is "ship it and we'll cross that bridge only when we absolutely have to"
