Hey,
Why is crafting so boring? And a BAMMmmm chore?
You guys are great story tellers, yet the most interesting new thing you have is made up of multiple grinds and you give little to it.
Yes, we can create our perfect weapons. But why do we have to feel like we’re taking out the garbage each time we have to hit a level (ya know, level 16 with old granny’s helmet) or get more mats (focusing weapons you might never use takes forever).
There’s a bare minimal of two NPCs who can make weapons, and probably more (actually three, now that i think of it). Why isn’t there more story in-place? Right now, crafting is as important to the game’s story as “making” upgrade modules with Banshee. Whyyyyy? I was so excited for the crafting system. A lot of us were, but it’s kinda BAMM. You get good weapons but, the process…
Cheers,
Monk

Great storytellers? Last time I checked their storytelling amounted to little more than characters giving overt exposition dumps over the comms while I kill things. I know you're probably talking about the lore but as far as storytelling as a part of the gameplay D2's story quite often feels almost like an afterthought to me.
