I don't know about you all, but I see gambit in not a good place right now.

I stopped playing gambit till they fix how the prime damage is set up cuz the way it is now it’s just not fun to play gambit anymore since you’re basically making it so that you have to 3 phase it which is just too much of an ask for me tbh

To get the Herod-C, Servant Leader and Bottom Dollar. Other than that, I wish it was in the open world for planets rather than condensed to simulate PVP.

I played it. It's different mechanics than before or before that. It's not bad if you learn to adapt to the new mechanics....

I've stopped playing Gambit. I rarely play PVP either these days. Maybe I'll play PVP for the seasonally bright dust quests or IB and that's about it.

2 RepliesI agree it is not in a “good” spot… But probably not for the same reasons as many others think. It could use an overhaul that would probably be frowned upon per budget reasons. I play it because it is the one activity that allows for more aspects of the game to be utilized. Exotic armor, builds etc have more room to breathe of which a lot of the game does not offer. Plus team builds as well. The idea is solid… the current execution and support is not.

Just for the weekly pinnacle. Don't care if we win or lose, I just need that pinnacle.

1 ReplyMinus the frequent back-to-back invades, I have nothing against Gambit. Unlike raids or Wellsprings, Gambit is not really an activity I can see myself farming.

Even after the changes this season, it's still what I best at in Destiny 2. Having said that, however, making the boss phase an invader's dream seems pretty bad to me. Just let me try to melt (or not) the boss in relative peace.
