Let's Talk: Trials of Osiris One-Sided Matches

I'll preface this by saying that I'm pretty decent in Elimination, but in Trials apparently everyones a god-tier esports gamer or I get lucky, clutch, and give everyone false hope. I honestly dont get how this happens. What I want to bring up is how one sided the matches seem to be. If you lost the first match quickly, you're setup for a 0-5. If you lost the first match any other way, you'll likely get a 1-5 or 2-5. If you're on the winning side, it's basically that, but in reverse. Balancing does not appear to exist in this mode. I've noticed this trend and have been collecting screenshots from every match result to back up this claim. Of the many games played today to get the pinnacle reward, only 2 of them could be considered close with a 4-5 or 5-3. So what's going on?

Firstly, I agree with you, we all pay the same money for the game to enjoy, and yet Bungie do not give us an even playing field. I mean, if I play a team sport, I am going to play against people of the same level, Tennis for example, there are grades, A-Grade, B-Grade etc. Mens A-Grade, Mixed, Womens etc. If you are going to play you want and pay money to play, you want value for money, so you join a club and you get matched against players of your skill level. If you play well, you might get promoted in season, or next season. Hell, you might even win a Flag. This is where Bungie is going wrong. The current system, allows these other players to manipulate the system. Card based match making means the elite can reset their card and farm us lower players. Take this guy for example, farming and probably doing carries: Keeps resetting his card. https://crucible.report/report/2/4611686018450010755 https://ibb.co/5BVbV9d There are plenty who are doing this. What Bungie needs to do, and THEY HAVE THE DATA TO DO IT. Is implement skill and card based match making, just like when joining a sports club. Elo Tiers (Updated Oct 13, 2021) Legend - 2800, Top 500 get a special image ranking. Diamond - 2000, 2200, 2500 Platinum - 1600, 1700, 1850 Gold - 1300, 1400, 1500 Silver - 1000, 1100, 1200 Bronze - All Others Basically, implement a system where if you are Silver I, II or III you can match up to say Gold I, once you hit Gold you can match up to Platinum I and so on. Bronze and Silver should not match above Platinum and above. Once you hit Legend, only match Diamond and Legend. Flawless Pool should come into play as soon as you go Flawless, or have enough wins in a row to go Flawless (stop card re-setters that are basically farming wins.)
