Potential 6 month long season 15?
Witch Queen is expected to drop sometime early 2022 and season 15 is supposed to come late this August. With no information on a potential extra season between season 15 and Witch Queen, we have the potential for a 6 month long season 15. This would bring an extreme content drought if nothing is planned. If this is the case, Bungie should bring in Taken King and Rise of Iron expansions into the game (updated to D2 standards obviously). It would obviously not be part of current D2 timeline but at least it would be fun to play the raids and chase armor/weapons while we wait for Witch Queen. Thoughts?

It is usually 12, though I know it is 15 for Splicer, and it was longer for another (possibly Arrivals)... It gives the studio more time to examine metrics and optimise gameplay when it fails, and it gives players more time to complete activities that only last the season.
