I remember this being a mistake, many players complained about it some time ago, but depending on the sword it can be intentional, let's be honest, it starts wrong when we need ammo for a sword.

Yeah thats why I liked Young Wolf's Howl in D1 since instead of just becoming an particle FX silhouette of the blade it actually had a unique model when out of ammo that the blade was broken and the effect of having ammo repairs the blade. With The Lament I take it as the weapons fuel since its literally a chainsaw with jet propulsion to help it swing. At least thats my head canon for those two Exotics Swords lol. Maybe it be interesting to seem them test the idea of a perk that recharges the sword energy to full well its stowed like Auto Loading Holster, maybe test it on a Caster Frame sword first since most Casters rely on the heavy attack for damage. Maybe would be cool but it would need more though for balance and how it would work and operate. Lol

I agree it is weird needing ammo... For a sword lol but i guess balancing purposes its needed idk 😂 Yeah it never really bothered me but i just felt my Solars Scar would be so much more efficient if it had the Energy as soon as i used it again. Since it leaves a burn on an enemy and actually does quite a bit of DMG with this burn, i just thought a buff to gaining energy when stowed could actually make swords somewhat viable. Or maybe its because Fallen Guillotine they decided not to change it lol

Yes, I remember perfectly that that was the problem, if it still persists, maybe it's incentical or to balance the damage between swords and other weights.
