Item missing after failed transfer from vault,2 days since this happened

i used the transferring system to transfer an ikelos god roll smg with 5k kills. It never arrived and it is completely gone. I have checked the vault and the inventory on all three characters. It has been 2 days, and after repeated checking I still can not find it. I checked my application history and it shows that a transfer from the vault was requested, but it says that the action has failed. Is there anything I can do?
