event ornaments in eververse store during the events

i was thinking ok well not thinking ive had this idea for a bit now. during the solstice of heroes event you can never purchase armor ornaments from earlier years but with the dawning you can. why cant we? i get the whole point of solstice of heroes is that we can get exclusive armor that glows and can be masterworked by doing annoying objectives. but in the store why cant you purchase armor ornaments from previous years? its not like we are purchasing the actual earned armor from previous years, we would just be purchasing the ornaments from prev years. what i mean is that every year there is a new armor set with another new ornament set, but the whole point of solstice is that we masterwork the actual armor, so whats the problem with putting armor ornaments from previous years in the store during the solstice event?

  • 'Cause you actually had to grind to get those sets. Y1 and Y2 Solstice required glows to be purchased to actually make your armor glow(the armors had an exclusive ornament glow socket). Y3 Solstice changed this by requiring only the Majestic Set be unlocked to purchase the glowing variant of the Majestic Set. This variant was a Universal Ornament that would change colors depending on equipped subclass instead of having to manually change glow piece by piece. So the only set they could bring back is last year's, but the static white glow version is exclusive as it is not a universal ornament(at least not until transmog)but unlocked by completing objectives. But I doubt Bungie will be bringing it back.
