The latest TWAB and Luke Smith running the game will see Destiny 2 be dead or very close to it next season .. PVE will have reissued weapons and old content so apart from campaign and maybe new lost sector loot PVE will be dead .. PVP has been getting worse and losing players all because Bungie removed SBMM from crucible... Now it’s just a toxic cesspit of sweats stomping their personal kd stats .. No one wants to be there except to get pinnacle .. Next season will see PVP become a ghost town.. Edit: Thanks for all the replies I was exaggerating a little with the games death , but I definitely do think we will see even more of a decline in the player base which will further hurt the games life span.. PVP has been losing players at a very quick rate over last 2 - 3 seasons , while some modes peak for a day , weekend etc overall PVP has lost a lot of players .. Now many players hate this absolute toxic environment after SBMM was removed and either never play PVP or only do the handful of games required for pinnacle drop they don’t want to be CONSTANTLY FARMED by sweats only looking to boost personal stats.. PVE also lacks appeal to the a good number in the community because a lot of the gear is locked up behind raids or dungeons that need organised groups .. Bungie are even that stingy they have huge costs of raid currency required to get old exotics from the kiosk thus further driving players away from the end game content..
