I am really enjoying this sandbox.

I know it is early, but I am having more fun in PvP this season than I have in the previous two seasons. I feel like I have way more options. I can go in with pulse rifles and be fine. Hand cannons and be fine. Sidearms and be fine. Even an auto and be fine. I feel like I can go in with any primary of my choice and put in work. I mean, there are a few exceptions to that like SMGs and high impact autos, but overall I feel like I have much more options than before. I really enjoy how hand cannons aren't limited to 150s anymore. 140s just feel so good to me and always have. I'm on console and have over 50,000 kills with Ace throughout PvE and PvP, so it finally being a competitor (It has NEVER had more than 3% of console kills.) is a huge breath of fresh air. I also really like how stasis has impacted the sandbox. Yeah. A couple things my have been released a little hot, but I like it. Stasis really reigns in some things. It really punishes players who make bad decisions and it rewards players who recognize that. Now after some testing I do think the Warlock was hit a little too hard. I think 16 meters is a little steep, so maybe 20 meters would be better. Freeze duration should be more like 2 seconds in all honesty as well. Or we could take a whole other approach and increase the cast time, keep the projectile velocity slower, and introduce a sound queue so people can react better. Just an idea. The Titan super also seems to last for forever and there is no escaping it, but maybe that's just me. I'm personally okay with it for the most part. There are too many supers I'm just not worried about in this game. Like, I haven't been scared of a Golden Gun ever in the history of D2. I hear it pop, and I go to shut it down. Zero hesitation and I almost always succeed. It is a nice change of pace for several supers to be a threat. Overall, I really enjoy Stasis. My clan and I played PvP in a few several hour long sessions and had more laughs than we have in the months of the previous seasons.
