Had 3 in the magazine, and managed to fire 4 shots with no reserves left.
There must be a window where as the shot is firing, the ammo is still in your magazine.
During that window you can pull down the trigger again where it thinks you have enough ammo for that shot and it doesn’t get cancelled by the change in ammo
It’s an edge case, found on the Rapid Fire Frame Fusion, Zealot’s Reward, (with Liquid Coils, no other change to charge time), but I’ll add more information in the comments as I test more.
Going to test with the other fusions, pulse rifles and bows (to see if it’s an issue relating to bursts or charge times, or whether it’s a problem only occurring with rapid fire fusions).
It’s going to be tough to replicate, so it may take a little bit of time on the info
