Raid boss ideas
what if we came up with some Ideas for raid boss names/ encounters
thought this would be fun before the DSC raid launches and it would be nice to see what some of you guys come up with I'll start
I've always liked the Idea of sort of a horde mode encounter like where you're in some kind of big room and there are no res tokens but there's no res timer either and the goal of the encounter would basically be like to kill all of the enemies and all of their collective health would make up the boss health bar but all of the enemies would have some kind of shield/aura and to break it you would have to go into some kind of a portal and your team would need to tell you a certain pillar to touch witch would give you the buff that would allow you to kill certain enemies and maybe you would be needing to defend something I don't know the idea just sounded appealing

After playing Persona 5, one of my favorite boss is the sixth Palace ruler. While this might get mixed reactions, I wouldn't mind an encounter based on gambling. Originally, I had no idea how it would be incorporated, until I combined it with the Oogie Boogie fight from Kingdom Hearts. Around the arena, there would be several plates that represent what players can bet, like Super energy, Heavy ammo, even your rez token. Before DPS, a roulette will start spinning. Players will go to the plate they think the ball will stop. If they get it wrong, they'll lose whatever they bet. Like if they bet Heavy ammo and get it wrong, they'll lose all their Heavy ammo. If they get it right, not only will they get whatever they bet topped off, but they'll also get time to damage the boss, depending on what they bet. Like if they bet something small like Primary ammo, you'll get ten seconds. But if you bet your rez token, you'll get a minute. If you refuse to bet, you get killed. Some people might not find this enjoyable, but I just think an RNG boss could be interesting.
