Must wait 90 days to activate crossplay
Hey there Bungie. to make a long story short, I no longer have access to the Steam account I originally set up cross save with, so I made a new Steam account which meant I needed to change my cross save account as well. So now I have to wait 90 days (currently 80 days) before I can link my Xbox account with my new Steam account. I would really love to play Beyond Light with the characters I've put so many hours into on launch day. I was wondering if there is any way to allow me to link my Xbox account with my new Steam account without having to wait 80 more days. I've always been a big fan of Destiny and I don't want this to affect my joy with the game. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi there, Since you have already deactivated Cross Save, you have been put into a 90 day waiting period before you can reactivate Cross Save for security reasons. There are no exceptions to this policy, you'll have to wait the full 90 days.
