What Happened To the Archon Priests
Between D1 & D2 did the Fallen all fall apart? Because I know we didn’t kill them all did we?

Well it's a combination of a lot of things Fallen only had one archon per house, and if that house didn't have a prime servitor then there was no need for an Archon We killed Multiple back in Destiny 1, and crippled 3 different houses to the point of collapse And finally, it's a change in culture. Fallen are beginning to no longer worship their servitors as gods, seeing them as machines rather then deities. So due to this, there isn't really a point of having an Archon anymore because why have a religious leader when your house doesn't even believe in said religion?

The Fallen are going extinct thanks to us, if they do not change there ways and stop trying to attack us they will be wiped out Leaders like Mithrax and Variks understand the dire circumstances they are in, but leaders like Eramis still think they can win -
We've destroyed the very structure of the Eliksni, any of the remaining leadership of them is insignificant by themselves. The three biggest factions are under or pushed by Variks, Mithrax, and Eramis. Variks being the only one of old trying to gather any under that want to be called Eliksni again. Mithrax wants nothing but the best for anything under the Great Machine, wiether it be fallen or guardians. Erasmis is just another typical fallen to cause even further decent of their own kind. There's The Spider too but honestly he's his own thing and not a direct threat, each of the houses from D1 are a shell of an already broken self that Fallen suits them quite well.

2 RepliesI thought the Kings still had their Kell and I think their major leadership. Didn’t we only kill their Barons in D1? I trying to remember, lmao. But I swear the Kings were still a viable threat.

1 ReplyWe killed 3 Archons, 3 Kell's, 1 Prime Servitor, 1 King/God Servitor, 1 Freelance Fallen, 1 Ketch Servitor, The House of Devil's lost All 3 Leaders. Splicers lost thier Leaders. The House of Kings lost all 3. The House of Winter Lost all 3. The House of Wolf's lost all 3. We pretty much Destroyed all Main Leadership of the 4 Houses. Except Kings Kell,Kings Servitor, Wolf's Archon, Wolf's Prime Servitor, Devil's Kell,Winters Archon, Winters Prime Servitor.(They are either dead or in hiding) probably dead)

The Archon Priests only serve to be religious mediators between Prime Servitors and Kells. With most of the houses either having been ruined or outright obliterated, the Fallen relied less on religious beliefs and more on their own survival. Servitors, and by extension Prime Servitors, were treated less as holy machines but as tools, and thus the idea of an Archon was phased out as a result.

I wonder where the fallen keep getting more troops. How do they breed so fast?

We’ve killed many and there aren’t many left -especially because they were already uncommon to begin with and now there’s almost no Primes left for Archons to tend to- but there’s still some out there. There’s been a few Archon Priests in D2. Raksil was before we killed him, and Fikrul is a former Archon Priest.
