I don’t understand why people keep saying Fusions Suck In PvE.

  • it's not so much that they suck, but there are much better options available. Pair that with not being able to use champion mods and you leave a weapon class almost ignored.

  • Because they are bottom barrel in terms of ad clearance or deleting champions. There are so many better options and those options typically have ability boosting perks or synergy.

  • Same. Rockets are awful though compared to how they used to be. I only use it if a bounty makes me then I take it off. Though I use fusions all the time I enjoy them. Not sure why people think they’re bad. Even linear ones can be nice if you have a good roll for one.

  • Right? I use fusions all the time. Telesto is amazing, or a double fusion build. I use 1000 voice and the garden fusion with rampage and shield disorient. Run double scavenger and double finder and you wreck at all ranges.

  • They aren’t versatile enough, they are good at taking mid tier enemies down at medium range but not much outside of that. That’s also why 99% of tube launchers are also kinda bad because 1 nade really isn’t flexible enough to do anything well

  • I find that high impact fusions are gnarly for Major take downs. Fast firing fusions work great for quick ad clearing and some Major encounters. They also sit right outside the boss stomping range too.

Shotguns are great with perks like one two punch and trench barrel. Fusions have nothing.

  • You can get the same job done with shotguns without charge up time. Fusions are also bad a boss damage because of their in ability to crit.

  • To each their own I enjoyed using loaded question a lot as well as jotun and telesto but thats the problem I just haven't really enjoyed using normal legendary fusions because they dont pack a big enough punch. I kinda want the perk for loaded question to be a perk that can roll on normal fusions in the future.

  • The inability to crit kind of doesn't become a thing when we got stuff like divinity, oppressive darkness...mabye tether though not sure on that. I mean I would like fusions to do a bit more but they do feel alright too me when they work.
