Many people have unlocked the New Monarchy, FWC, Dead Orbit, Crucible and Vanguard armor ornaments back in year 1. When year 2 dropped, those ornaments became useless because of the armor changes that came in year 2.
But all those year 1 armor ornaments are still inside the game gathering dust. They're wasted right now being only able to apply them to faction armor that was re-released in year 3.
So, just for the sake of goodwil: bring back all year one armor ornaments as universal ornaments in year 4. If you already unlocked them in year 1, they will be on your account as unlocked universal ornaments. If you didn't unlocked them in year 1, or you didn't play D2 in year 1, you will be able to unlock them through a quest, or something else.
Thanks for reading :)

Still say this is a great idea!!!

JensBoef you make some valid points and I agree that eververse needs to be removed from the game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

YES, but don't forget the iron banana ornaments

Edited by K3IK0(=^·^=): 10/21/2020 4:26:00 PMGoodwill and bungie will never go together they hate their community. We are just $ to them. That's life and the human mindset. Greed and money.

Would love to have all of the Speaker's class items from D1 back into the game.

Great idea!

Why the -blam!- you want old ass shit back

Edited by LiftAnEye: 10/23/2020 2:30:37 AMList your top 3 things that Bungie has done to show good will in the past 6 year. Edit: Seems like the responses to the question are more of an answer to, what should have always been in the game. The response to gold dust is interesting to me. You mean paying for items with gold dust, instead of just earning them in a game you already payed full price for, is your definition of good will? Seems like you don't know what good will is or your expectations are really low. I think both may be true. Another one that I liked was the response about an attempt to shut down a cheating site. Again, that's what you consider good will?

Yes please!!!! I also would like to see some armor from D1 become ornaments. Especially Iron Banner armor from D1. Here is an idea!! How about Bungie brings it back like this? When it goes live we get a quest from Zavala to recover/rescue some of our old gear from the demolished tower. He tells us that he gathered intel that our enemies are trying to find Guardian weapons and gear in the old tower, so he sends us to investigate. It could be similar to the Zero Hour (without the clock) where we need to clear all the enemies as we work through. Eventually we make it to a boss fight and after defeating him, our Ghost says that he found a way to recover some gear from the vault. Now we have a small jumping and tunnel maze that leads to a vault computer and we unlock all previously unlocked D1 armor as ornaments. This is what Destiny should be about! D2 was a continuation of our Guardians journey and since we are getting D1 raids again why not a cool mission and throwback like this????

Bungie is Sunsetting Ornaments to balance the game.

No need.Leave at least a drop of exclusivity in the things of the first year.

Returning player here. I would *love* to be able to gain access to content from previous seasons. Whether that's through quests, drops (that aren't shitty shader fests like mnemonics) or even paid, just give me more stuff! Such a bummer seeing everyone walk around with swag that is unobtainable to me.

They will when they figure out a way to make you pay for it.

Edited by max: 10/22/2020 5:10:32 AMFor free sure actually any sunsetted gear should be turned into ornament it's the least, the very least thing they need to do but I think we both know they will change the name or color if they feel generous and call them new ornament in year4

I want my Flaming Blue Skull back 😪

This would be a little improvement since they like to remove things from this game. Although, I'd like to see more quality improvements. When BL drops, this would be my wish list for simple things that can actually improve the experience of playing the game. It's a long list.
1. Nerf the way overdone duplicates. 2. Create more consumables that have a multi-purpose that would tone down the number of consumables in the game. 3. Nerf the way overdone blues that drop in the game when we reach the cap that can't be used to level up. There are enough consumables in the game for glimmer. 4. Luke Smith said D2 is a collectors game. Knowing you can't collect everything from collections if you delete anything you want you can't get certain things back again. This is a huge issue because the vault space is now being used as the collections. What I'd like to see is a better-organized vault space than just looking at something as if we're just throwing everything in our vault that is a mess. Have separated pages as the first game had for weapons, gear, and miscellaneous items and add more space for the miscellaneous items because this game is flooded with them. 5. Allow all items to be stored in our vault. The postmaster is not a vault space Bungie so please stop using it as one. 6. All items should have the option to delete all at once. Creating items that can only be deleted one at a time is unnecessary and has been for 6 years now. 7. Bounties, I'd like to see less being used and more creativity put into them than just kill this PvP player or enemy X amount of times. Add some life to the game, please. 8. Stats, I'd like to see more gear drop with better stats than what we have been getting. IMO more than half the gear that drops in this game is way too low to even want to use that legendary gear is being dismantled as much as blues are. 9. Tone down the grind when having to complete certain quest/bounties. IMO a few of them have been way overdone with the grind. Also, please stop going the complete opposite and hand certain things out like candy. Learn to come close to a happy medium with some quest/bounties. 10. Stacking, all items should stake no matter what. Items like Ascendant shades should not be stacking in the postmaster. All material and consumables should go straight to our inventory period.
These are the things Imo that need to be improved and they are small things this skeleton crew can handle.

I love this idea!

Or they could bring new stuff.

We asked this already right before SoH, dead silence. Good luck with BL....

I’m not sure you use goodwill appropriately. I hope you haven’t pre ordered Beyond Light.

I like donating to Goodwill. Once I ran over their collection box when I was learning to drive. My mom had me in a church parking lot at 13, behind the wheel of a deep red '95 camaro. It was just a V6 but that thing had some real power in the lower gears, and I had only ever seen the movies where they go all in on the throttle, and all out on the clutch in one motion. Just like the movies, I was sideways, going about 30 mph, loving it. My mom was screaming, "Brakes! Brakes! Brakes", unfortunately for her, and Goodwill I suppose, I had already been full on the brakes, it just wasn't enough. I spent about 4 hours and 50 nails from the dollar general right down the road, had the box fixed and the clothes back in it, but I spent the entire summer buying my mom a new rear quarter panel. Ahh goodwill Shit what was the question? -
Sounds like work.
