I know that Bungie has said that if you purchase Beyond Light on PS4 and then upgrade to PS5, you'll get that upgraded to the new console free of charge. I currently have the D2 disc for my PS4, and have Beyond Light pre-ordered (and the other expansions) digitally. Now, here's my question. If I buy the digital only version of the PS5, and get the digital upgrade of Beyond Light to PS5, will I be able to play D2 digitally on the PS5, either by not needing the disc, or having the digital base game included in the upgrade? Or, will I need to buy the PS5 with the disc drive in order to play on it? Thanks for any help - I want to get the digital version but also don't want to have to pay double.
