Crash during initial loading screen

Hi, I recently reinstalled Destiny 2 on my laptop. Now when I start the game, after the "press enter to continue" screen, it will load for less than a minute with the music still playing, and then crashes with no warnings. Here is my config and details: Steam ID: 76561198055342255 Processor: Intel i7-5600U RAM: 8GB GPU: Intel HD Graphics 5500, GeForce 940M OS: Windows 8.1, version 6.3 (Build 9600) So far I've tried: deleting a couple files and verifying file integrity on Steam deleting my existing CVARS.xml file checked that my Destiny 2 file isn't set to read only It'd be great if anyone could give me some advice as to how to fix it. Thanks!

 • Hey there! Bungie does not fully laptops which is why you are having this issue. Your GeForce 940m may be a little on the low end as it can be used on casual type games. The same link below will help you figure out what specs Bungie is after. 😃
While we will do our best to make sure Destiny 2 is available on the widest variety of PC hardware, we do not officially support Destiny 2 PC on laptop configurations. Laptops with specifications that match or exceed our Minimum System Requirements may be able to play Destiny 2 PC.
https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/46405
