Serious Question for Bungie Moving Forward

Idk how often the mods read posts or even care about them, but Bungie, if you're listening, I've got a sincere question. Not trying to be disrespectful, just inquisitive and honest. You've stated that Beyond Light is to be the beginning of a "new era" for Destiny 2. I'm curious as to how you plan to make it so. We were all expecting radical changes to content distribution and monetization when you split off of Activision, but what we got was more of the same. Shadowkeep was largely a rehash of old content and the seasons this year have been relatively lackluster from what the community at large has said. Eververse is still churning out cosmetics that can only be purchased with real money, and there's a lot of cosmetics locked behind a paywall for a game that also charges for expansions and encourages the purchase of season passes every couple of months. It would be different if the bright dust economy and offerings that can be earned through gameplay were better or the Silver costs weren't so steep, but they aren't. Like I said, more of the same. And that brings me to Beyond Light, in my opinion, a double-edged sword. On one hand, the story for Destiny is finally heating up. The Darkness has finally showed it's ugly face and there's abundantly more to the Light vs Dark narrative than we initially were told. Europa looks beautiful, the Stasis powers look great, and the return of old content from D1 is certainly welcome. But all of this comes at a steep cost, and I'm not referring to money. Beyond Light is launching with one new world and one that's been recycled from Destiny 1. The Vault of Glass raid is also returning. But this is the only information we've gotten so far as to new content. The other news is how much content is going to be removed from the game. 4 entire worlds are going away as well as the Leviathan, and all the content based around those locations is going away as well. It's not like I spent an abundance of time on places like Mercury, but getting rid of so much content associated with these locations, especially the raids, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I can't imagine how new players are going to be attracted to the game given that any story missions, strikes, or raids that will help them understand Beyond Light aren't going to be there. Which brings me to my point: How is this Destiny reinvented? With every major expansion since Taken King, you've sunset almost all of the gear in the game up until that point, and you're doing it again. Many Destiny expansions have featured recycled content at a premium price, and you're doing it again. Eververse has always been a bane for Destiny, and you've shown no signs of improving or changing it in any way. Seasons will continue to deliver tiny pieces of story over a year bit by bit and you'll still have to pay for access to the most significant portions. And most importantly, for the first time, you're removing a very sizable portion of content from Destiny 2 in order to fit the latest expansion in, some of which people paid for. So how exactly is this a "new era" of Destiny moving into the future if all it seems we're getting is more of the same? And if your split from Activision was so significant, why hasn't your operation as a developer changed from the days where Activision was still in charge? And what do you plan to do in the future to ensure this really is a rebirth for the series? I'm interested in Beyond Light and very tempted to purchase it in November. I've been investing a lot of time into earning as many 2020 triumphs as possible and completing all of the content I need to experience before it goes away, while using my favorite weapons which will also sadly be leaving. I WANT to invest in the future of Destiny. But I also want to know that there's a future worth investing in. Thank you.
