The light and the darkness themselves are just THERE. What we perceive as the light or the dark, the minions of the traveler and the pyramids, are what we can call good or evil. I think a problem with so much of the community is that we believe the light to be “good” and the dark to be “evil.” The traveler and the pyramids are just as evil as each other. The traveler has done nothing to help us, it has only done things to further its own unknown motives. The traveler is, imo, more evil than the darkness because at least the pyramid has shown some of its motives. We may not know them to be true, but the only reason we name them as evil is because they are dark, a historical symbol for evil.

Exactly, who decides whats good and evil, whats clean and unclean. Its a matter of perception imo.

<The Darkness's ideology is actually completely correct, whereas the Traveler's is wrong. The difference isn't in terms of philosophy, but in historical actions. The Traveler is benevolent, it has good intentions but has done a pretty bad job of keeping the societies it enriches together. It reached an epiphany here and decided to rely on its empowered civilization for a change. The Darkness, on the other hand, has exterminated dozens of civilizations or left them to rot. Many have had nothing to do with the Light, yet it continues to demolish. Hell, its end goal is the annihilation of all life in the universe outside of it and the Pyramid Armada it commands. That's why it needs to be stopped. It's very blatant about what it wants, and it has no reason to lie. The Traveler is evil because it breaks natural law. Evil means socially maladaptive, and the Deep is adaptiveness in of itself.>
