Once I heard about guardian games, I was excited. The idea of classes competing to prove who is "the best" class and representing their colors all year. Pretty cool stuff. The issue is that the games are not playing out as we thought they were. In the beginning, hunters were nerfed, because there were an overwhelming amount of us in the game. I personally was okay with this, as it made sense. No worries. Hunters are still equal in that sense, so awesome, it's fair now. WRONG. Day 1, hunters won, and there were no issues because the results seemed fair. We were all close in score for a majority of the day. Then, videos started coming out about how you could delete a character and it would give you a golden medal when you landed in the tower after doing the into mission. So people were exploiting the ability to get masterwork materials. Awesome! No issues, just a funny exploit. Haha. I went to bed, thought nothing of it. Woke up, and Titans had a very considerable lead. Oh man, gotta beat them! But as the reset came and went for the day, I noticed that Titans were beating everyone again. And beating them again the next day. And the next. I went online and did some research. I came up with multiple posts about this exploit, and how people were doing it for Titans, as "they need the most help" because they had the least amount of players. But remember: they nerfed hunters to make it fair. Titans have been doing this every day, hence their lead. This has turned from "Who is the best" to "who can cheat and delete the most characters to be the best". I have seen many articles about how "Titans are putting in work" and it frustrates me because they are, just not how it was intended Bungie, you have not commented on this, and that is not helping. I was expecting something in the TWAB but I have not seen anything about this issue. If this continues, I will begin to lose my patience. As this is not fair at all. I wanted this to be fair, but it really has turned out to be the opposite. I love this game and the entire franchise, but this event has been the worst one I have ever participated in.
