Warlock Blinks

Ok, I love Blinking with the Warlock Voidwalker Subclass (And the Hunter's... I guess.), but I feel it's a little too polished to the point it's just... too slick to stand on its own. I mean the ability to look in one direction and teleport in the direction moving is really good, A+ in theory, but it also relinquishes some control to outside forces (it kind of only works on either one plane - x and y or only z, or a 2-D game.). //Why not add the function to hold the jump button to prime the jump, allowing the player to travel in the direction facing. So jump > HOLD for like a second or something > release > travel in the direction facing. And to know the jump is primed the screen goes star-y or something, y'know, a visual cue. I dunno, makes sense cause both you and your character have to "focus" the Blink.// Also why isn't Blink in Solar or Arc? Like for Solar it could be a Solar Flare inspired Blink, and Arc it could be a Lightning inspired Blink, and Void... a Blink... inspired Blink. I mean do this and one; Warlocks become a bit more specialized and versatile, and two; gives more variation between Hunter and Warlock. Here: Solar Blink - Upon using the Double Jump, Warlocks glide /only horizontally/ for a bit upon exiting their Blink. Attempting to jump again while gliding deactivates the glide. (No need to hold the Jump button to glide - VISUAL CUE for glide; flames blaze around the screen.) Arc Blink - Upon holding the Double Jump, Warlocks throw a leader to the nearest solid object teleporting to it upon release of Jump. (Warlocks can land, move, and attack before teleporting, save they keep the Jump button held (Cannot use abilities) - VISUAL CUE; Lightning arcs across the screen when the leader has made contact, edges of screen glow when moving too far from the leader, edges "pop" when the leader's contact has been severed, abilities were used, or the player teleport's.) Void Blink - Upon holding the First Jump, Warlocks focus their light to a point in space they are currently looking at, teleporting there upon release of focus. Warlocks can lose focus by dying, using abilities/weapons, or landing on the ground, this does not activate their teleport. (Warlocks slowly descend when focusing and cannot use their weapons or abilities - VISUAL CUE; stars appear on screen.) It would also give the Exotic Helm Warlocks have a little bit more use. Cause it's just a throw away item for like 8 out of every 9 Warlocks and even then I know for a fact that there are a lot better Exotics to equip other than one that gives you like an extra charge for your double jump and like 2.5 meters further range and faster weapon ready (Winter's Guile x Devour is unstoppable.) ALSO! If this sounds far fetched or something, er... Fancy pants Warlock Helen or something, kinda demonstrated this in The Red War campaign when doing sick aerial blinks and crashing a... spaceship? And c'mon, the only thing Blinking brings to the table is the ability to quickly engage and disengage allowing you don't burn your two blinks and have to wait like 5 seconds before you get another. (Sounds short, but if you're blinking that much to avoid danger or parkour, 5 seconds is a looong time) Yes I know it was nerfed because of PVP bang bang booms, but it's now... kinda useless. Like it's pretty, it can be fun, it can work in certain scenarios with the Exotic Helm, but it's overall clunky in the spots it needs to be refined, and too refined in some places so now there's nothing there, and infuriating 9 times out of 10. P.S. if none of this sounds appealing then please, for the love of god, add more VISUAL CUE's so we know when our Blinks are able to be activated again. Even a bar under the abilities works.
