Moderator violated first amendment right

Recently I had a post removed from a topic. It was stated I insulted someone. Basically I disagreed with op topic and many of the replies so I said it confirmed a theory that people on these forums are of lower intelligence . How is this insulting? It’s comedy. Plus what am I comparing them to? I could be saying they are of lower intelligence compared to Einstein. Plus I generalized all people on forums which right now includes me. I demand someone higher up review this!!! Ya can’t have mods on here removing posts simply because it disagrees with their point of view or their friend’s which is what I suspect.
Moderator edit: This thread has been updated with tags that are more appropriate. Feel free to private message the moderator who moved your post, link to topic, for further clarification about why this topic was moved.
Couple things : 1. There is no first amendment protections here. That is irrelevant to Bungie's website, as the first amendment is not restricting those to speak out against the United States government. Bungie is not a government, and has it's own Terms of Use / Code of Conduct that you agreed to when joining. Bungie is not a public entity. 2. You can message any Ninja regarding your Code of Conduct violations for any questions. This thread will be locked as per our guidance.

  • There is no 1st amendment right on a private website. That is for the Government, and specifically, the United States Government.

    1. Your first amendment rights only apply to the GOVERNMENT (and their agents) restricting your right to speak, or punishing you for saying something they didn't like. But given what President Trump is doing to the people whose JOB it was to tell the truth of what he did....even that protection is in jeopardy. 2. Bungie isn't the government. This place is a private forum and essentially an extension of their place of business. 3. Just like a business can have you removed from the premises in a the real world if you behave in ways that are disruptive....Bungie has the right to remove your posts or ban you from the forum for those same reasons. So you are only as "free" to speak you mind here...as you are willing to live with the consequences for having done so.

    • First ammendment only applys to vocal critisisms of government without resulting in punishment. Although, with recent events. this concept is being strained. As far as I know, Bungie isnt a government and have the ability to moderate their own forums, while you are under their Terms of Service which you agreed to, and have also agreed to the punishments if broken.
