Comp is unplayable this season.
In previous seasons, I was able to hit Mythic pretty easily. I had a good balance of wins and losses, and games weren’t too unbalance (excluding the Luna/NF days).
So far, my loss record this season has officially hit a new high to the point where I’m now just joining party comp and losing on purpose to “hopefully” ruin my ELO back to the skill level to not pair with sweats in Brave anymore. My Glory has taken hits as well. Guess the update to where you don’t lose Glory before 2100 is no longer in effect since I’ve lost well over 1000 glory this season where I only have 540 Points.
What happened Bungie? Where’d SBMM go for comp? Because, again, it was never this bad. This is the first time I’ve played comp this season and don’t think I’m gonna play again until next season.

Back at the end of D2 Y1 during solstice of heroes I ran a 28 lose streak... for one dang win😂... trust me its much better now even if there are still kinks

I’m not amazing, I play with controller on PC and I play from SE Asia so my connection can be bad sometimes, but, what it feels like to me is I get on a decent team a few times in a row, do really well which ranges from a 2.0 on up to my all time high which was an 18.0 (just once) but then after a few games it thinks I’m way better than I am and I start to get absolutely -blam!-ed. I get pitted against people teleporting everywhere or stuck with noobs. The game can’t seem to discern the fact that I’m good with a decent team but I cannot carry two or necessarily even one person most of the time. And this is where the MM system fails. I think it’s good for very bad players and fine for the higher level players, but everyone in between can really get -blam!-ed by it. And the thing is, these bad streaks last wayyyy longer than the few good games. For me it’s been a constant overall negative.

1 ReplyThis is the season I made it to 5,500 joining solo from 0. Since then Ive won 7/9 Gomes and am 7/50 for that ridiculous achievement. Git gud!
