Would you mind elaborating a bit?
-
Do you want me to give you the best option or an upgrade?
-
How is the problem tied to my CPU when people with lower specs than mine can run the game better?
-
It was either your installed something wrong/broke something. Or you bought a faulty one. No one with lower specs are getting 200fps lol.
-
Okay but if that was the case every game I've ever ran with this CPU for the past year would've been running like shit. It's only Destiny 2 that acts like this.
-
It's funny their another person I'm helping named captain I'm getting you guys mixed up. AMD cpu run awfully. Theirs a benchmark test were the 1080ti gets 172 fps with an i7 7700k and the Ryzen 1600 was getting 130.
-
I don't know
-
Edited by cxdave: 2/7/2020 12:30:28 PMIt's not that simple. There's more going on with the game and perhaps also his system. A friend of mine is running Destiny 2 with a 11 year old quad core i7-965, triple channel 9GB RAM, 1060 6GB and he's mostly getting over 80-100 FPS medium settings 1080p (except on Titan).
-
Your friend isn’t also mixing amd and intel/nvidia. People who have been doing that recently have been having performance issues
-
You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Running over 60fps here with a ryzen 3 2200g and GTX 1660. No issues whatsoever. Mixing between them doesnt matter one bit. Go back to school bud. You need some learning.
-
The. *I have no problem it doesn't happen* I have never seen a murder so I guess its fake.
-
Yeah considering im doing exactly what he says causes problems and dont have any. Also if you read the previous reply from him and actually took the time to consider what he said youd realize it makes no sense at all. The past 15 years has been nothing but intel/amd for cpu and amd/nvidia for discrete gpu in the gaming universe. His statement basically states that mixing a cpu and gpu can cause problems. Please tell me how that makes sense in any form. So AMD gpus get the best performance with an AMD cpu? Please tell me how that would have applied with their FX processors? Heck even less than 10 years ago AMD did a GPU launch with benchmarks with an INTEL CPU!.....Pretty funny wouldnt you think? Or i guess tell me what a mix would be with using and intel cpu? wouldnt both amd and nvidia gpus be considered "mixing" in his case since they arent part of/made by intel?
-
I didn't read what he wrote but mixing them doesn't effect performance. But ya amd is nothing short of awful when it comes to Destiny your losing a ton of frames. I get more fps than people with 2080s either ryzen CPUs.
-
Well take the time to read before jumping in with your opinion. You just stated exactly what I said to him to begin with and you jumped to the offense on me. Doesnt really make sense. And no not with new ryzen cpus do people have issues. They are just as capable as any intel CPU. Please be up to par in knowledge before you try to push it on others. Heres someone else's video to prove it for ya. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGwEg7px2ko This is a comparison of a ryzen 9 and core i9 in multiple games. They sit nearly neck and neck the entire time. So no AMD is nowhere near awful when it comes to any games bud.
-
Keywords other games. Destiny no. This is a Destiny help forum not other games help forum....
-
Edited by Mourer: 2/7/2020 10:44:04 PMWell that mustve went right over your head......The point is that the AMD cpus arent behind Intel anymore and if you paid attention youd see that. But here is also someone who was kind enough to use a ryzen 9 with a 2080ti. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nb9S2i5pbk And lo and behold he gets the same fps ranges as me and many others with the same hardware, including intel.
-
Nvm hes getting 113 I'm getting 200fps at 1080p the same spot and 111 at 4k with low graphics. I have a 2070 super which is less than half the price lol.
-
You obviously dont understand a gsync monitor either. It caps him at 120. But please id love to see some proof of 4k 111 fps....where at? staring down in the tower? You're not getting over 100 consistently in d2 with any 4k settings. Please upload a video or show me a link because so far with actual videos online of benchmarks no one else is getting those types of fps in this game....Please provide some proof.
-
I got rid of my 4k monitor for a 200hz 1080p. At 4k copying gigz settings I'd get over 100fps in pvp, raids and strikes. At ultra settings 4k I'd get 75fps everywhere. Now at 1080p with Gigz settings I get 195+. The only screen shot I have at 4k is in orbit at 180 fps.
-
Lol.....imagine that. "I got the best system i get the best frames, better than anyone else!" Prove it..... "Oh I cant.......i only have such and such" Get out of here scrub.
-
I don't have the best system lol never said I did. I paid 310 for a 4k monitor. I changed my mind to get a high refresh rate monitor got 380 back because I applied for an amazon credit card and bought a 200hz monitor. Imma scrub? 2.7kd.... 92% gambit win ratio... 36 minute average raid time with 530 full raid clears.... Ya I'm the scrub. I i had a screen shot I'd send it to you but i don't i had the monitor for 2 weeks.
-
What fps? It's way too small
-
120 in the top right....hes using a gsync monitor. So if hes sitting at 120 90 percent of the time then I know it will go higher to 144fps ranges like common intel/nvidia setups with 144hz gsync monitors too. Exact same performance as my i9-9900kf and 2080ti.
-
What graphics and resolution. Because at low graphics 4k I'm getting 111 fps lol
-
As I said. Provide a link of someone else doing it or upload a video showing your settings with 4k, 100 percent resolution and actually doing something not standing still and you will not be consistenly above 100fps.
