How about instead of losing progress after a loss, the rank remains inert on loss? I understand making survival a competitive environment, but loss of progress is the antithesis of grind in video games and makes the gamemode very unenjoyable, plus people tend to use only the worst of meta and exploit broken weapons to win, and in cases where you have to use Lunas to progress Not Forgotten's quest which in this current sandbox, is outperformed by snapshot snipers, shotguns and pulses, you are put at a disadvantage and are hurting your own teammates progression. Eliminating loss of progress would still have you play survival and win to progress pinnacle quests, ensuring its still competitive, but be temporarily stalled when losing as apposed to losing progress entirely.

It's competitive... if you don't like elo or ranking systems don't play it. It's pointless If you don't lose any progress on losses.. pvp is a joke atm, it should be a lot harder if you ask me.
