I was transferring my swarm of the raven from my hunter to my warlock via the destiny 2 companion app. The ui bugged a bit and said something like "item cannot be transferred". When I refreshed the page it said that the gun wasn't on my hunter nor warlock and I would like it back.

It would go to your vault. You may have ran out of space on the other character and the API didnt update in time to reflect that.

Edited by SonicFusion: 1/6/2020 8:22:26 AMAllo there, Make sure to check your vault while in game. The app moves items by first moving it to your vault and then to your chosen character. So if any issue occurs it should be there. If not try logging out and back in and check all characters again and the vault. Items usually reappear within a few hours.

Have you checked your Vault? Whenever an item gets moved, it always goes from the first character, to the vault, and then to the target character. If the target character does not have enough space, or if there’s a communication error, the item may simply get held in the Vault.
