Every end game activity outside of the raids should be matchmade with gear score requirements and a 1 minute interval for all players to inspect each other to see what everyone is running and what the group needs to swap to for the activity specific champions. Period. The only activities that shouldn't have MMing is the raids, but I want to explain why the raids in Destiny can't. Its not because of difficulty, its the encounters that are designed to be REQUIRED to have an active mic to communicate mechanics to other players. The entirety basically of Scourge requires 1 mic player to call out the map, Garden of Salvation requires a mic for the harpy call out of its eye locations that glow after grabbing its bomb, the vault encounter from Last Wish, etc. These encounter require call outs and even a chat box isn't fast enough to quickly convey on the spot callouts in a short amount of time for mechanics. Trying to matchmake that will be impossible and result in frustration, even if you 'require a mic' people can just not talk into it. Players don't have the power to vote kick so tough for you if you get one of those guys. Raids in Destiny need however, IN GAME LFG that is not tied to an app. Put it in the game. Its annoying to do on console and annoying even on PC to minimize the game and to load up a website just to post a group, then have to type in the code you give us to invite players, on console some have to add people as a friend. Its a clunky, terrible system that would be greatly improved if you would... just put it in the game. Sure, you will need moderators to watch the LFG posts in game, you can probably have a few people watch the LFG posts on your side Bungie. Have a accomendation system to rank players on how good of teammates they are in the LFG so players can avoid bad teammates and toxic players.
