The postmaster needs to prioritize which gear to keep
I"m sick and tired of having exotic engrams being deleted because the postmaster does not prioritize them. The postmaster has gone to long without being addressed. It can only can hold 21 items. Like seriously? Maybe this is more of an issue with hardcore players but when farming activities filling the postmaster can take an hour(not very long all things considered). If a player is farming they shouldn't feel like they have to be constantly keeping track of their postmaster on DIM.
RIP my saved exotic engrams for season of dawn.

Well postmaster isn't storage for sure i too however worry about losing gear as i know for a fact that some gear has been left on the ground somewhere i didn't see never to be seen again. And it never showed up in the post master either so don't know the mechanics of the postmaster that well. But every single piece of gear and currency that drops from kills and chests should be auto looted because you get gear in area's where you killed something that you might not see. I find this part annoying, But you should loot everything from a postmaster and if you got no space in bank delete some old weak gear. Personally since they do sell micro's i think they should both upgrade everyone with 500 more bank slots and sell extra bank space for 50 slots or something for a couple bucks.

2 RepliesI find it funny that people are telling everyone to manage stuff better when: 1.) Postmaster only gives capacity warnings [i]after[/i] you land in the tower. At that point, things could have already been deleted. 2.) You don't need to have your character full to have stuff sent to the postmaster. Blues and materials drop so frequently that you can easily miss them when you jump to another area, much less rarer items. Third party apps are nice and all, but they fix a symptom, not the cause. Not to mention that in either case, you're still wasting time burning garbage drops of little value. Postmaster itself needs the storage warnings to appear wherever you are in the game at the bare minimum. Blues should have the option to be auto dismantled on drop. Those are both simple QoL changes that should have been implemented a while ago.

It would be nice if the postmaster did this at the very least. That’s beside the fact that we should be able to manage postmaster items from our ship, and that the postmaster should give us a warning WHEN we reach capacity, not AFTER when we go to the Tower. The postmaster needs some QoL adjustments, that much is clear.

THIS HAS IN THE ENTIRETY OF DESTINY'S HISTORY NEVER BEEN A THING EVER TO HAPPEN TO ANY PLAYER EVER. When you pick up an exotic, it becomes a potential exotic from the CURRENT loot pool. You're not gonna pick an exotic up and open it next month, next season, or next DLC, and ever, EVER, get a new exotic from the loot pool.

After reaching 900 it should be all legendary, just add weapons parts and more glimmer to it!! It’s a total stupid set up right now. Having said that you should be saving the crap you like in your vault mi amigo...

It would be GAME CHANGING in the most positive sense. 4. If we can have Tess in the Directory, then please give us the Postmaster too. What a difference that would make! No more dull transferring items one by one using third party apps just to get rid of them. These four things should prevent many of us from losing rare and exotic items for the sake of bad design. It would take s great chunk of tedium out the game. Minimum effort, maximum effect.

1 ReplyYep. My postmaster is always giving me a notice of being full from all the blues dropped around. Blues need to be automatically dismantled after you reach a certain level. Bungie, make blues drop as weapon parts when we reach the soft cap!
