Hello Destiny community. My name is Kyle. I'm an avid gamer, and back in 2014 my father, Chuck, was the one who got me hyped for Destiny. He got the game and raved about it. My father has far surpassed my total number of hours played in Destiny. Between both games, he has put in at least 1,200 hours!
Just a couple weeks ago, we lost my grandmother (my dad's mother). Of course, my dad isn't doing terribly well. I learned recently Bungie is publishing a Destiny Cookbook, and I thought, "perfect, I'll get that for my dad because he loves to cook!" My grandmother always said that eating makes you feel better. Alas, it seems that book is being published in August 2020.
So, I'm writing today to see if maybe this post could get the attention of some Destiny developers who could send him a personalized message? Maybe an autographed thing from the store? I think he would just be over the moon (careful, it's haunted...) to hear from the folks who have created his favorite game. Thanks for reading.

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 11/28/2019 12:06:31 AMMaybe try to talk directly to a community manager on Twitter? I'm sure you could send the copy of the book you get to them for them to sign. Sorry for your loss

Try posting this on Reddit (r/DestinytheGame) You should get more attention from Bungie there. And don’t give up. I hope y’all can recover.
