Being able to apply regular shaders to exotic weapons and armor would be great. I think I can speak for a few people when I say that not all exotic ornaments are appealing. Many people have certain shaders that they stay loyal to, favorites perhaps, and allowing people to put their favorite shaders on exotics would result in some super unique looking weapons. If the partial goal of an exotic is to be unique by default then allowing us to customize the color to our liking makes the game an even more personal experience. I would love to stick the white trials shader on my Last Word or Thorn.
