[I’m atheist, but not just because I have my own doubts about the existence of a god(s). My other reason is that I don’t want to be constantly harassed by other members of a religion that I’m not living my life “according to gods plan,” as is the unfortunate case for my brother.]

[It’s a bit complicated, but it boils down to my brother is nagged by the older members of the church because he doesn’t follow their strict-ass rules.]

Everyone has a unique and different past, the goal isn't to homogenize each other, but to grow in relationship and likeness of God.

The only way you can really know how to live as a Christian is through reading the Bible and prayer.

I constantly hope the situation resolves itself soon so I can stop being his therapist over it. I’ll relay your advice to him and see if that helps.]
