I've just accepted now that I will be stuck at 950
There need to be more events or like you say a little higher exotic.
Flashpoint... Pointless
Memory Quest... Pointless

Nar because at the moment I'm really liking the match making Nightfalls because I'm doing and getting new things that I haven't been able to in the past

Well, you could always do pinnacle activities. You know, the activities that are purposely there to give you drops higher than 950. All the activities you listed are there to get you to 950, not past it.

I want to be able to progress my light level so I can do them activities. Because at 950 (966 with the thing) I cant do the master ect which is 980 for a high drop. It's rediclous you are suppose to do a 980 activity being stuck at 950. It does not make sense, it's just -blam!-

You're looking at it wrong. That's why the artificat exists and why those activities still matter. The game is transitioning you, a little bit anyways, to an XP model like most other games that don't rely on gear score. Those activities are not pointless, they're leveling up your artificat which will increase your power level. With my artificat I can get 960, almost 961 (like a bounty away). So keep playing and you'll keep leveling up! That simple

I know what youre saying and that's what I'm doing but mainly I'm focusing on the match making Nightfalls as I haven't been able to do them so I'm at the moment getting all new weopon and emblem drops

You wanna be able to do them, play the game and grind to level up the artifact. You'll be doing them in no time cause you can easily get to 965-970, which will let you do master. Hell, you can do master at 950-960, it'll just be hard, like it's meant to be. Seriously, the dlc has only been out a month.

I think the point is once your 950, 90 percent of the game is useless.

That's only true if you have all the weapons/armor with the rolls/perks you want, which i highly doubt. The purpose of the game isnt to reach 950, yet that's how people are acting. As for reaching 960, there are specific ways to do it, for people that are willing to put up with that longer grind. And that's the issue for all the people that are complaining. They dont want to feel left out, but they dont want to do the longer grind, so they want it easier. That's all this is about.
