So in D1, when a sparrow got too damaged, it'd boot you off and run ahead a little bit until it full detonated. If I remember correctly, it was a bit tankier too and could withstand more incoming fire (or enemies just didn't target it as much, either or).
In D2 though, sparrows just explode between your legs without your consent and often put you in near death, often in front of enemies (if the explosion doesn't outright kill you of course). Enemies are also much more accurate at shooting sparrows to the point where it feels like it triggers some aimbot on the ads.
After dying to enough sparrow explosions over the course of the game, courtesy of the architects more than anything, I ended up thinking to myself:
Why was this changed?
Was it necessary to actually change this?
Is it worth changing back to D1 standards?
Is Shaxx secretly some foil or antithesis to Master Chief?
That last question is probably unnecessary to mention, but you get the idea. I think...
What are the community's thoughts on it? Should anything be done about this or is it fine where it is now?
