It should come back with some sort of set rules applied.
Why not have a ban system in play where prior to the match everyone votes to ban a piece of exotic or even a whole archetype of weapons for the duration of the match. A lot of games use this sort of thing for ranked plays and depending on the team composition it might add a fun factor to it besides reducing the meta.
Dunno but trials also should only be elimination like it was in D1, anything else is less about skill and more about cheese strats.

That's a terrible idea lol. Who wins the game should never be dictated by what someone else thinks they should or should not be able to use.

Edited by Dr_Cornwallace42: 10/21/2019 1:02:03 PMI would say have a similar Rainbow Six system: Ban 1 armor piece Ban primary slot Ban special slot Then you have 1:30 to prepare with your character screen with a vault screen to the side so you aren’t stuck with the few weapons you have equipped with you I think Heavy should be gone across the board Edit: Across the board I mean in Elim/Trials I’m not a toxic quickplay normy lol

R6 has like 50 operators. Imagine trying to scroll through the entire list of exotics or armour pieces just to ban one. Remember this community was mad that trials had the intros showing the emotes that added 30 secs to each match

That’s what unfortunate, warlocks would get boned in the banning we ain’t got much take away our Transversive steps or Astrocyte verse that’s an L lol

A truly competitive mode would interest me in destiny again. When they took away trials i left but pinnacle pvp quests brought me back. Then they started getting too easy so i got bored. Now theyre gone and i dont play. The pve in destiny is not strong enough to support pvp being so stale

THATS WCTUAKLY A GOOD IDEA
