When I start up D2 I can enter to the character selection screen fine, the character preview does not seem to load, but I don't think that's too important. I was hesitant to post due to how many 2017 topics there were on this issue, but I haven't found any solutions,( I tried clearing app data and messing with a dll file that was said to have been misplaced, and clearing pending friends requests. I don't have 50 friends on steam so that shouldn't be an issue either) and now that I am here, I might as well look like a fool when I get an answer within the same month, as opposed to looking for a month with no results. I spent all of my destiny hours on xbox, and wanted to switch to pc, so I converted my XB1 save to my global and tried to start, but I can't get past the character selection screen. I have a AMD FX-4300 cpu (Mind you this is not a Phenom) and a 580 NITRO+ Sapphire gpu along with 16gb of ram. When I select a character, the screen darkens and the cursor freezes in the loading animation. The audio plays as if I were traveling to the surface of a planet, but the screen is stuck. I can't find a key that allows me to mess with options while still in the character selection screen so I don't know if the game has the wrong resolution or something. I don't get an error message on the screen. If anyone has any information on how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.
